Since a few weeks ago, I organized my thoughts about Softricity  announcement that they will work with the team handling Microsoft offers virtual applications and trends in the Management Server Microsoft Systems (SMS). What is the ad? What does this mean for Microsoft? What does this mean for Citrix Project Tarpon and Altiris software virtualization to solve? Most importantly, what does this mean for you?

First of all, let me explain the basics of this very important announcement. In short, Softricity has a partnership with Microsoft, to offer products that combine the Softricity SoftGrid – including application virtualization streams and demand self-supporting – directly in server management Microsoft Systems (SMS). What does this mean for Softricity?

This is a great opportunity for Softricity! This announcement came a message to the market that Microsoft has chosen a partner for virtualization and flow. Besides the technical advantages of this announcement, it is important to understand that Microsoft is working with Softricity to sell this solution is mainly SMS-users. The reason for this is that it benefits both parties, as well as end users. What does this mean for Microsoft?
